Review from “Battle Helm”
“Whenever I see anything being described as alt metal I stay well clear of it. I’m old enough to remember funk metal. I still get nightmares when I hear a slap bass in a metal song. That wasn’t a meeting that ended amicable to my ears. In the case of Polish Neurothing alt metal is a fitting description, if alt stands for altered. This is right up the alley for all those of you out there who think everything outside of Meshuggah is too straight and boring. So if you like complicated breaks and music that goes backward and forward and every other direction and can’t get enough of your Meshuggah or Treponem Pal records this might just be the one for you. Me?, I’m happy to just note that this was interesting but it takes a bit more structure for me to get into it 100%.”
