Review from “Antenna Magazine”

Vanishing Celestial Bodies - Album Cover“There is no question that Meshuggah has influenced a lot of bands, and certainly will continue to do so, and the Swedes are one of the obvious comparisons going through Vanishing Celestial Bodies. Neurothing really know how to get the music as syncopated as it gets. The complexity might not reach the heights of aforementioned Swedes, and in my mind this count in favour of the Polish band. Though only presenting four songs, the music still sometimes lacks diversity despite the many elements of each song, but one of the keys to versatility is the inclusion of vocal melodies instead of just screaming their heads off. And exactly this latter element is also included on a couple of songs with “Macheta” as the most successful attempt.

So will Neurothing be able to mark themselves on the scene judged from Vanishing Celestial Bodies? Yes they will, and it’s probably only a question of time before Neurothing is picked up by a record label, as this band shows a standard with the production, musicality and professionalism on Vanishing Celestial Bodies rarely seen with unsigned bands.”

Review from “Burn Your Ears”

Review from “Hardzone”

Muzyka NEUROTHING sprawia wrażenie złożonej i wielowarstwowej, pełnej zaskakujących zmian. Ogólnie jednak jest mocno i bardzo ciężko, a melodyjne fragmenty, choć występują, to należą do mniejszości. Na uwagę zasługuje też wokalista, który umiejętnie i udanie wprowadza do muzyki nieco schizofreniczne klimaty.

Podsumowując NEUROTHING dostarcza nam naprawdę dobry i dopracowany pod każdym względem materiał. Widać w zespole duży potencjał, który miejmy nadzieję zaowocuje jeszcze lepszą muzyką w przyszłości.

Review from “Vampire Magazine”

Vanishing Celestial Bodies - Album Cover“I have been reviewing some more modern metal acts from Poland in my career with Vampire-Magazine, like Hedfirst, but I will honestly say that non of them are as convincing like this Neurothing. What I have here is the promo EP “Vanishing Celestial Bodies” and with this EP they wish to get signed to a label. And that is definitely something that is within their reach if I solely judge on musical terms. Their modern and grooving metal in the direct vein of Meshuggah’s mid nineties era (undoubtedly their best!), the band that never had their well-deserved breakthrough: Brainshake and the first two albums of Wisconsin’s Static-X fits perfectly in the trend of today. Pretty technical with loads and loads of breaks, tempo changes and very heavy riffs, metal oriented but with enough elements to attract the attention of the modern hardcore fans as well, speaking of bands like Cataract. Yup, keep an eye on these Polish talents!”

Review from “Metalopolis”

Jednotlivé nástroje znějí vskutku nekompromisně a čistě.

Koneckonců tyto náznaky lze vypozorovat i v tomto demu.”
